Serena Williams is an American women Tennis Player.She has won WTA player award of this year.She has got this award after winning Wimbledon,US Open and Olympic Gold this year.

(2) Jeff Zucker is the new CNN's Chief Executive

Jeff Zucker was the former NBC Universal chief which has been now named as the new president of CNN. He will replace the Jim Walton in January 2013.

(3) Now travelling in a sleeper-class without an I-card is offence

The government has made it compulsory for all sleeper class passengers to carry an ID Proof. Earlier it was allowed to travel with only one ID card among the group.The government has applied this rule from December 1st,2012 to reduce the scope of misuse of tickets.

The 10th world junior table tennis competition is going to take place in Hyderabad will start from 9th December and will end on 16th December.

A punjabi film whose title is "Andhey Ghorey Da Daan" and is directed by Gurvinder Singh and Producted by NFDC(National Film Development Corporation) has got the Golden Peacock Award in 43rd  International Film Festival of India.

Famous Australian cricketer and former captain Ricky Ponting has finally announced its retirement from International Test Cricket..He has scored 13,366 runs in 167 test matches with an average of 52.21.

World Champion Rory Mcllroy has retained his number one spot by winning Dubai World Tour Gold Championship.He defeated the Justin Rose of england who came second.

Chitra Ramakrishna will join the National stock exchange as Managing director and CEO from 1st April 2013. Current cheif Ravi Narain will get the role of vice-chairman(Non-executive role ) .

K venukuttan Nair was a famous personality.He was a Malayalam film actor and also a theatre personality who passsed away on 26th November 2012 at Thiruvananthapuram.His age was 81 years.
